EventPark Terms of Use

Effective date: May 13, 2026. This text is a pre-launch terms draft for EventPark and should be updated as the product's commercial launch, legal structure, payment model, and jurisdiction details are finalized.

1. Acceptance

By accessing the EventPark platform, creating an account, or using the services, you indicate that you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the platform.

2. Description of the service

EventPark is a mobile platform that supports event discovery, event joining, agenda and session tracking, notes, networking, messaging, QR-based check-in, organizer operations, team collaboration, and planning workspace flows.

The platform may include different roles such as attendee, organizer, and organizer team or staff. Visible features and permissions may differ by role.

3. Account and user responsibility

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the profile and account information you provide is accurate, current, and belongs to you.
  • You are responsible for protecting your account access credentials.
  • Using another person's account without permission, interfering with platform operations, or attempting to bypass security measures is prohibited.
  • The platform may only be used for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.

4. Attendee use

When using the platform as an attendee, you should:

  • Use event registration, notes, messaging, Q&A, feed, and networking features responsibly.
  • Not engage in abusive, deceptive, spam-like, unlawful, or harmful behavior toward other users.
  • Use the event report and complaint features only in valid situations.
  • Understand that information shared through public profile and direct messaging may be seen or retained by the receiving party.

5. Organizer and team use

  • Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of the event, speaker, session, venue, ticketing, and notification content they create.
  • Organizers should use QR check-in, access to attendee information, and workspace tools only for event operations purposes.
  • Team members should use workspace, tasks, checklist, and invite functions only within the role and permissions assigned to them.
  • Organizers and team members should not use information about attendees, speakers, or other team members for unauthorized external purposes.

6. User-generated content

Notes, feed posts, image sharing, direct messages, Q&A questions, profile text, and other content submitted by users are your responsibility. You should not share content that is:

  • Unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or discriminatory.
  • Infringing the copyright, trademark, or other rights of others.
  • Malicious code, phishing, spam, or content intended for fraud.

EventPark reserves the right to remove content, make it invisible, restrict an account, or conduct further review when these rules are violated.

7. Payments and third-party flows

As described in the document, some events may be paid events. The payment flow and related refund, tax, processing, and payment provider rules should be defined separately before launch according to the final business model. This draft currently serves as a general framework for that section.

8. Platform availability

EventPark aims to keep the platform available and reliable, but does not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or equally available across all devices. Some features may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security, or third-party infrastructure issues.

9. Event-related responsibility framework

EventPark acts as a platform and does not automatically assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, schedule changes, cancellation, venue issues, or organizer behavior related to events created by third-party organizers. In such cases, primary responsibility may remain with the relevant organizer.

10. Intellectual property

The EventPark name, logo, platform design, and other materials related to the service may belong to EventPark or the relevant rights holders. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to use the service; brand elements or platform materials may not be used for commercial purposes without separate written permission.

11. Account suspension or termination

EventPark may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or access to certain features in cases of Terms violations, security risk, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or when necessary to protect the service.

12. Disclaimer and liability

The service may be provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventPark may not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This section should be reviewed legally before launch because such limitations may not apply fully in some jurisdictions.

13. Relationship to privacy

The handling of information during your use of the platform is governed separately by the Privacy Policy. By using EventPark, you understand that the data practices described in that policy may apply.

14. Changes and final legal review

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Before final launch, it is recommended that company legal name, contact details, governing law, dispute resolution, refund rules, and other commercial details be completed after legal review.
